When Shannon walked into our studio we could see that she was shaken. Quiet. And not quite herself. Normally very outgoing and talkative, something was off. As the tears filled her eyes, mine filled up equally as fast. It had been an difficult morning for her. A difficult year.

After her home being broken into and all of her gear stolen, another upsetting event was not what Shannon needed that morning. We talked for a bit about what happened and Shannon opened up her heart. Fully. And as she spoke I could feel her strength. Her determination. Her passion. It was contagious. And within minutes I felt like I could take on the whole world ninja-style. She inspired me. Inspires me.

Shannon has taken this love, passion and strength and created an amazing experience called Discover. During a difficult year Shannon discovered what she stood for. Just how strong she is. And just exactly who she is. Her Discover sessions help others find that part of themselves too. To discover what’s deep inside them and what makes them who they are. The connection is truly beautiful.

Shannon, today as you celebrate turning 40, we hope that this is your best year yet. Filled with love and beauty, sharing your beautiful gift with the world. We were so excited that you won the Thirst Relief mentor auction to come and join us. And we feel very lucky to now call you our friend. Happy birthday!
