KEVIN AND TIFFANY – THE DAY…(photos by ewan)

He’s the type of guy that you enjoy being around. Kind and caring. Always listening to you carefully and gets along with everyone. He’s the type of guy you can’t help but like. And he’s the guy she instantly liked. Tiffany couldn’t help but think that Kevin was a guy she wanted to get to know. And Tiffany insists that Kevin couldn’t help but think that the pretty blonde he’d just been introduced to had a nice butt. The connection was instant…

Their story follows the text book style of a long distance relationship. Every time one of them returned to the same city, the other had to leave again. Being a professional figure skater, Tiffany was used to being on the road for long periods of time and being away from home. But after meeting Kevin she was disappointed that her next tour would be taking her to South America. Not really sure what was developing between them just yet, but certain it was something, Tiffany wasn’t ready to walk away. At the last minute the tour was canceled for safety reasons and it seemed like they would be able to stay together after all. But an 11 month tour in Europe took them apart after shortly afterward. Talking every day, writing emails and visiting whenever possible, they dated long distance for almost a year. And when Tiffany came back to their home town, Kevin was suddenly sent to Vancouver for work. It seemed like the world was conspiring against them. It seemed like the world just didn’t want them to be together.

But Tiffany knew better. She knew that life always has a way of working out. And that love will always find a way. After 2.5 years of dating long distance, she knew that it was time to be together once and for all. That sweet guy who she had fallen in love with knew it too and set the wheels in motion. The girl with the cute butt was someone he just couldn’t live without. And so he bought tickets to see their favourite artist Keith Urban in concert. As he waited patiently for their song to be played all sorts of thoughts ran through his head. What if they didn’t sing that song? Would he just choose another song to propose? But then it happened. In front of thousands of screaming fans, the words to their song filled the air. As Tiffany hummed along and went to reach for Kevin’s hand, she turned to find him down on one knee. He told her that he couldn’t spend another minute apart and asked Tiffany to marry him. With thousands of screaming girls cheering for the man on stage, Tiffany screamed yes for the man kneeling in front of her. No more miles. No more distance. Just being together and being in love.
