We limit the amount of baby and family photos that we take each year so that we can focus on weddings. But there are a few people in this world that I just can’t so no to, so when our friend Derek asked if we could do some photos of his friend’s daughter Sloan, and we saw this sweet little face, we were hooked . So, armed in her new dress, a big smile and a whole lot of energy, we set off downtown to celebrate in style. And since Dr. Seuss rocks and every one year kid should enjoy the story “Happy Birthday to You”…this is just for you :
I wish we could do what they do in Katroo
They sure know how to say “Happy Birthday to You!”
In Katroo, every year, on the day you were born
They start the day right in the bright early morn
When the Birthday Honk-Honker hikes high up Mt. Zorn
And let’s loose a big blast on the big Birthday Horn.
And the voice of the horn calls out loud as it plays:
