MADELEINE AND JEREMY – THE QUESTION…(photo by ewan)

It was an ambush. With leave in conditioner in her hair and wearing a hat, Madeleine wasn’t expecting to run into the man of her dreams. So when a mutual friend asked her to stop by for a visit at work she headed right over. The next thing she knew Jeremy had been invited along to meet them at a restaurant. Madeleine wasn’t looking to be swept off her feet, so didn’t think too much about being joined by someone else.

She wasn’t interested in being swooned. She was tired of all that. Flowers, chocolate and awkward dates weren’t even on her radar. Madeleine was looking for a real man. A solid partner. A man with his feet on the ground. When Jeremy arrived at the restaurant it was instant. They hit it off. They clicked. While chocolates and flowers were nice, this is what she had always longed for. They were the perfect balance and their relationship was solid from the first minute they met.

As the years moved forward things may not have followed the conventional method. Things may not have been textbook. But the path was perfect for Madeleine and Jeremy and two babies have shared along in the journey with them. And when Jeremy gives her two hours to wake up in the morning or something sweet to eat to ease her out of a bad mood, Madeleine knows that although she hadn’t been looking that day, Jeremy is everything she had always been searching for. Sometimes the things you aren’t looking for end up being the best finds of all :)
