Sometimes when we meet a couple we just know that they love each other and Julie and Jeff are one of those couples! After braving the elements on Saturday, we received the sweetest email from Julie (check it out below the photos). Being on the other side of the camera, it’s very rare that Ewan and I have the opportunity to have our photos taken together (okay, we never get our own photos taken). But Julie’s email really hit home for me, as it reminded me of just how much love you can feel when you look into that special someone’s eyes. Thanks Julie, for making me stop to enjoy the little things. Good luck with your last minute plans and we’ll see you this weekend!

“Thank you so much for being so accommodating on Saturday. We have had such a stress free time planning and Friday was the first time I felt a bit sneaking in… That being said, Ewan was fantastic!!! He was very calm and relaxed and really put both of us at ease!! It felt as natural as pictures could possibly feel. I also have to tell you that staring into each others eyes and being that intimately close and holding it for so long really brought us back to some reality of why we love each other. Day to day goes by so fast, but to look, and I mean really look at each other drew out a lot of affection that continued into a really great and fun weekend. Thank you !” – Julie

Thank you to everyone who entered our Family Day Giveaway. Now that our family has grown, we were happy to have another excuse to celebrate family and enjoy the day together. We had so many great entries in our contest that we are going to be giving away another session in the Spring (keep an eye on the blog around April for this).
The winning entry came from Martha who nominated her sister and her husband. We were touched that Martha wanted to share this opportunity with her sister who is expecting a new addition into the family. Nothing says love and togetherness like a new baby! Congratulations to Martha’s family and we will be in touch to set up a session.

Martha’s Entry:
Nothing would thrill me or my family more than having you guys do some pictures for us! Our family is quite large and consists of my mom and dad and and 4 girls including myself. As we all get older more additions are added including that of my husband and my sisters husband. I am not entering this though to have a family portrait done of our family but for my Sister and her Husband who will be welcoming a new addition into their home very soon!! I would love for them to have the opportunity to have some really memorable photos taken of their NEW Family when their little bundle of joy arrives!! I love my family very much and we are all so close. Nothing thrills me more than seeing them happy and i would love for you to capture one of the happiest moments in our family (other than my wedding!!!) as this is the very first grandchild and niece/nephew. It would be such an honor to be chosen and a nice surprise for my sister and her husband!
